packit

Founded in 2009 in Westlake Village, California, PackIt revolutionized the food storage category with a simple yet ingenious invention: the first freezable lunch bag. Created by Melissa Kieling, a mother of three who was frustrated by soggy sandwiches and lost ice packs, the brand developed a patented EcoFreeze™ technology that integrates freezable gel directly into the walls of the bag. This innovation allows the entire bag to freeze overnight, creating a portable cooling system that keeps food fresh for hours without the need for separate ice packs.
