Founded in 2009 by Lev Tanju, Palace Skateboards emerged from the gritty, authentic culture of London's Southbank skate scene. What began as a way to support Tanju’s skate crew—the ironically named Palace Wayward Boys Choir—morphed into a global streetwear powerhouse. The brand is defined by its irreverent British humor, a lo-fi visual identity reminiscent of 90s VHS skate tapes, and the iconic ‘Tri-Ferg’ logo designed by Fergus “Fergadelic” Purcell. Palace’s apparel, including graphic tees, hoodies, and technical outerwear, blends skate functionality with a distinct nod to UK subcultures, from vintage sportswear to the rave and garage music scenes.
