Founded in 1964 near Perugia, Panicale is an Italian family-run brand rooted in the artisanal knitwear traditions of Umbria, a region celebrated as Italy's 'Cashmere District.' The story began when founders Mario and Soliera Panicale established their first workshop, with Soliera as a master of knitwear and Mario leading the business. This combination of craft and vision allowed them to produce for prestigious national brands before launching their own men's collection in 1978, followed by a women's line in 2011.
