Founded in 2010 by Mexican designer and ceramicist Perla Valtierra, her namesake brand produces high-end, handcrafted ceramics that blend traditional pottery techniques with contemporary design. Valtierra, who describes herself as a ceramist apprentice, has studied and practiced traditional pottery in various communities across Mexico, as well as in Japan, Belgium, and France. The brand operates two workshops in the Bajío area of Mexico, employing a team of artisans to create its signature pieces.
