Founded in 2020 in New York City by Gabrielle Gomes and Trina Assur, The Phoenix Brand (which later evolved into Dinner Service NY) emerged as a pioneering force in sustainable streetwear. Driven by a mission to eliminate environmental pollution from the fashion industry, the founders—who previously worked together at Boll & Branch—created what they termed the first plastic-free and toxin-free streetwear brand.
