Poutnik is the urban-focused collection from Tilak, a Czech outdoor equipment company founded by Roman Kamler in 1986. Launched in 2013, the Poutnik line translates Tilak’s three decades of experience in crafting high-performance mountaineering gear into apparel for daily life. The collection was initially developed for the Japanese market, where Tilak’s functional and durable products gained a following among city dwellers. The design of the Poutnik collection has been shaped by a long-standing partnership with Errolson Hugh of Acronym, who helped establish its minimalist and technical style.
