Founded in 2014 by professional skateboarder Paul Rodriguez in Los Angeles, California, Primitive Skateboarding evolved from a boutique retail store into a full-fledged hardgoods and streetwear brand. Rodriguez, a highly decorated X Games medalist, launched the brand to gain creative control over his career, initially testing the waters with a limited run of gold-foil decks before officially establishing the company. Today, Primitive is recognized as a premium manufacturer of skate decks, apparel, and accessories, deeply rooted in street skate culture.
