Founded in 2007 by James Eden, Private White V.C. is a British menswear brand rooted in the industrial heritage of Manchester. Named after Eden’s great-grandfather, Private Jack White, a World War I hero who was awarded the Victoria Cross and later owned the very factory where the brand operates today, the label is a celebration of local manufacturing and military-inspired design. The brand operates out of Cottenham House, the last remaining clothing factory from the city’s industrial revolution era, ensuring that every garment is hand-cut and finished under one roof.
