Launched in 2015 by former investment banker Zach Goldstein, Public Rec was founded on the idea of creating a more stylish alternative to sweatpants that was more comfortable than jeans. Goldstein, frustrated by ill-fitting loungewear, started the Chicago-based brand with a single product, the “All Day Every Day” (ADED) Pant, which debuted via a successful Kickstarter campaign.
