Founded in 2008 by hairstylist Fabian Lliguin and fashion trend forecaster Anna Ayers, Rahua is a beauty brand born from a mission to preserve the Amazon rainforest. The brand’s story began when Lliguin, an Ecuadorian native, discovered the transformative power of rahua oil, a potent ingredient used for centuries by indigenous women to achieve long, lustrous hair. Formulated around this signature oil, along with other plant-derived ingredients like palo santo, sacha inchi, and morete, Rahua’s products are known for their nourishing and restorative properties.
