Founded in 2008 by designer Yutaka Goto, a former employee of Levi Strauss Japan, Remi Relief is a Japanese brand built on the philosophy of creating the “ultimate American basics.” The name itself is a portmanteau of “remix” and “relief,” reflecting Goto’s approach of reinterpreting classic styles while stripping away superfluous details.
