Founded in 2016 by Nicharee “Lee” Prasitrattanaporn in Bangkok, Repleat emerged from a university thesis project exploring the potential of surplus umbrella fabric. Driven by a commitment to original design and material innovation, the founder developed an artisan pleating technique that transforms leftover polyester into sculptural, highly functional accessories. The brand quickly gained traction after winning the Vogue Who's On Next competition in 2018, validating its unique approach to sustainable fashion.
