Riccardo Monte is an Italian creative studio founded in 2016 in the Alpine town of Ornavasso by architect-turned-artisan Riccardo Monte. After an eight-year architectural career in London, Monte returned to his mountainous roots, spending six months in an off-grid cabin before establishing his multidisciplinary practice. This shift in geography directly informs his slow, nature-driven approach to design, which elevates raw, locally sourced timber through low-intervention processes.
