Founded in 1992 in Bloomfield, Connecticut, by Salvatore Carrabba, a designer with a background in sculpture, Salamander Designs emerged from a personal quest for flexible audio-video furniture. This sculptural foundation informed the Archetype System, which laid the groundwork for the brand's modular approach. Today, Salamander Designs is a leading manufacturer of premium AV cabinets, home theater seating, and technology furniture, built to order in a solar-powered USA facility.
