Launched in 2017 by former social worker Amy Christiansen, Sana Jardin is a fragrance house built on the conviction that luxury business can be a vehicle for social change. The brand’s philosophy, termed "Beyond Sustainability™," moves past charity to economically empower the female flower harvesters in Morocco who are integral to its supply chain. This innovative model establishes women-led cooperatives that upcycle the floral waste from perfume production into their own line of products, such as candles and orange blossom water, with the women receiving 100% of the proceeds. The result is a collection of sophisticated, floral-forward fragrances, developed with master perfumer Carlos Benaïm, that are as intoxicating as they are impactful. The fragrances are celebrated for their high-quality, natural ingredients and their elegant, often minimalist compositions that allow the beauty of the raw materials to shine. Sana Jardin’s approach has garnered attention not only for its ethical mission but also for its captivating scents, earning accolades and a dedicated following among conscious consumers and fragrance connoisseurs alike. In July 2024, the brand announced a rebrand to further emphasize its commitment to social justice and the transformative power of scent through a new consumer-led approach.
