Founded in 2020 by Zixiong Wei and Olivia Cheng in Beijing, SCRY (also known as SCRY Lab) operates at the intersection of fashion, technology, and sustainability. Wei, whose background spans computational design and digital fabrication, established the brand to challenge traditional footwear manufacturing through a proprietary "Digital Embryo" framework. This fully digital design-to-production process allows the brand to create complex, otherworldly silhouettes without the waste of traditional mold-making.
