Founded in 2014, Serapis is an Athens-based art and fashion collective born from a desire to merge the Greek maritime industry with contemporary design. The work of the elusive four-member group is a tribute to the culture and work ethic of ship workers, drawing from a rich archive of nautical life to inform their collections. The brand is known for transforming functional elements of maritime uniforms into refined, conceptual garments, such as turning a neon safety vest into a dress woven from 100% premium Soufli silk. Photographic prints from onboard cargo ships are a signature element, adorning silk scarves, dresses, and tops.
