Founded in Shanghai in 2015 by London College of Fashion alumni Liushu Lei and Yutong Jiang, Shushu/Tong redefines feminine style with a cool, subversive edge. After gaining experience at Simone Rocha and Gareth Pugh, the design duo returned to Shanghai to launch their label, built on the concept of a modern woman with a “girly heart.” The brand’s signature is its playful contradiction: unabashedly feminine details like oversized bows, ruffles, and florals are applied to clean, structured silhouettes and sharp tailoring. This creates a distinctive look that is both sweet and powerful, innocent and rebellious.
