Founded in 2017 in Los Angeles by lifelong friends Phoenix Gonzalez and Sandra McCurdy, Silked was born out of a desire to make the hair and skin benefits of silk more accessible. Drawing on their Caribbean roots and the nightly beauty rituals of their mothers and grandmothers, the founders created the brand's signature product: an innovative, open-ended silk pillow sleeve.
