Slip is an Australian brand that repositioned the silk pillowcase as an essential beauty tool. Founded in 2004 by former advertising professionals Fiona Stewart and Justin Dubois, the brand was born from Stewart’s personal search for a solution to sensitive skin and thinning hair. On the advice of her dermatologist, she discovered the benefits of sleeping on silk. The brand’s cornerstone is its proprietary slipsilk™, a specially commissioned fabric made from the highest grade (6A) long-fiber mulberry silk with a 22 momme thickness. This material was developed over a decade to optimize shine, softness, and durability.
