Launched in August 2020 by fashion industry veterans Rochelle Sara Gan and Nandita Sekhar, Stems was founded to redefine legwear for the modern woman. Drawing on their collective experience from luxury houses like Michael Kors and Manolo Blahnik, the founders established the New York-designed brand with the belief that dressing well begins from the feet up. Stems focuses on creating a sophisticated and functional collection of socks and tights that don't compromise on style or comfort. The brand is known for its use of high-quality materials, including Italian cashmere and cotton blends, with some products made in a no-waste factory in Italy.
