Founded in 2019 by surfboard shaper Manne Haglund Glad and CEO Anton Edberg, both alumni of Acne Studios, Stockholm Surfboard Club reinterprets surf culture through a Scandinavian lens. The brand began as a surfboard shaping studio and organically evolved into a full fashion line that sits at the intersection of surf, art, and fashion. Rather than adhering to typical Nordic minimalism, the collections feature kitsch graphics, vibrant color palettes, and 70s-inspired tailoring, with bootcut trousers becoming a signature silhouette. The aesthetic is rooted in the raw, authentic side of surf history, drawing inspiration from vintage surfboard graphics, album covers, and the well-worn utility of workwear.
