Founded in 1998 in Copenhagen by industrial designer Christina Strand and architect Niels Hvass, Strand+Hvass is a Danish design studio deeply rooted in the Scandinavian tradition of functionalism and simplicity. The founders, both graduates of The Royal Danish Academy, leverage their technical and creative expertise to develop user-centric furniture that balances aesthetic honesty with industrial production.
