Founded in 1997 by South Korean woodworker Kang Suk-Keun, the eponymous brand emerged from a personal mission to create safe, chemical-free wooden toys for his child. Operating from his rural base in Ulsan, Kang has since evolved his practice into a globally recognized studio specializing in handcrafted wooden vessels and tableware. Deeply influenced by the natural landscapes of his homeland and the philosophy of Lee Ufan, Kang’s work strips away unnecessary ornamentation to honor the innate qualities of wood.
