surya

Founded in North India by Surya Tiwari in 1976, the company began as a small producer of hand-knotted rugs. A U.S. division was established in 1986 to build direct customer relationships, with the founder's son, Satya Tiwari, taking leadership in 2006 and expanding the brand into a comprehensive home furnishings resource. Headquartered near Cartersville, Georgia, Surya has grown from its artisanal roots into a major industry player, translating fashion and interior design trends into a vast portfolio that now includes lighting, pillows, throws, accent furniture, and wall decor.
