Founded in London in 1997, SWEAR established itself as a cult footwear brand, capturing the city's vibrant music and cultural scenes with its unmistakable chunky-soled shoes. The brand, originally launched by Farfetch founder José Neves, became synonymous with the rave and cybergoth subcultures of the late 90s and early 2000s, defined by its rebellious, self-expressive style. After a period of dormancy, SWEAR was revived in 2018, bringing back its iconic archive silhouettes with a modern approach.
