Rooted in the rich tailoring tradition of Martina Franca, Puglia, Tagliatore was formally launched as a brand in 1999 by the Lerario family. The name, meaning “cutter” in Italian, pays homage to the family’s sartorial lineage, which began with grandfather Vito Lerario cutting shoe uppers. This heritage of meticulous craftsmanship was passed down through his son Franco and is now creatively steered by Pino Lerario, the brand's creative director since the 1990s. Tagliatore is celebrated for its mastery of the jacket, skillfully blending classic Neapolitan construction with a modern sensibility.
