Founded in 1977 by photographer Robert Weinreb in New York City, Tenba was born out of the necessity for soft-sided, protective camera bags. Weinreb, who previously wrapped his lenses in knit hats inside outdoor backpacks, created the first specialized camera bag prototype in a SoHo sewing shop. Today, the brand is recognized for its durable, intuitively engineered bags and cases designed to protect creative equipment in any environment.
