Founded in 2004 by Los Angeles party photographer Mark Hunter, The Cobra Snake began as a pioneering nightlife photo blog before evolving into a cult-favorite apparel and vintage brand. Rooted in the chaotic, carefree energy of the mid-2000s "indie sleaze" era, the brand captures the aesthetic of a generation that mixed high fashion with thrifted finds. Hunter, who documented the rise of internet "It" girls and underground club scenes, translated his photographic success into a tangible brand, opening the Cobra Shop in 2010 to sell curated vintage pieces and exclusive collaborations.
