Founded in 2010 by Donagh Quigley and Gemma McGowan in their kitchen, The Handmade Soap Company has grown into a leading Irish bath, body, and home fragrance brand. Operating out of a restored, hydro-powered linen mill in Slane, County Meath, the brand is deeply rooted in the natural landscapes of Ireland. Quigley, a former thatcher who suffered from dry skin, sought to create gentle, natural alternatives to mass-produced soaps, which directly informs the brand's soothing, botanical-rich formulations.
