Founded in Milan in 2019, Themoirè is a fashion brand built on the principle of creating accessories with the lowest possible environmental impact. The project was started by Salar Bicheranloo and Francesca Monaco, who sought to merge functional elegance with ecological and ethical responsibility. The brand’s name is inspired by the mythological Greek Fates (Moires), who spun the thread of life, symbolizing Themoirè’s mission to weave a more sustainable future. The core of the brand is its innovative material research, utilizing a range of plant-based and recycled fabrics. Signature products include clutch and shoulder bags made from vegan leathers derived from apple waste, pineapple leaves, and cactus plants. Other materials include natural cork, raffia, and recycled cottons, while all linings are made from 100% recycled materials like PET bottles and fishing nets.
