Launched by its namesake French designer in 2006, Thierry Lasry redefined eyewear as a fashion centerpiece. Raised by an optician father and a designer mother, Lasry merges technical expertise with a distinct creative vision, creating sunglasses based on the concept of “futuristic vintage.” The brand’s signature is its sculptural frames, which are handmade in France and Italy using layered blocks of acetate from the renowned Italian manufacturer Mazzucchelli. This technique gives each design a unique depth of color and texture, inspired by 80s aesthetics, Legos, and Japanese cartoons from the designer's childhood.
