Founded in 2020 by journalist Rachna Sachasinh, Tikkiwallah is an artisan textile and craft studio based between Chiang Mai, Thailand, and Luang Prabang, Laos. Launched during the pandemic to connect remote weavers with broader markets, the brand focuses on preserving the heritage skills of ethnic communities across Southeast Asia. Tikkiwallah is defined by its farm-to-loom philosophy, utilizing locally grown, sustainable fibers such as cotton, hemp, and the resilient piet jungle vine.
