Founded in Zaragoza, Spain, in 1928 by two nature enthusiasts, Narciso Hidalgo and Álvaro Artiach, Trangoworld began as a small sports shop named Radio Sport. This early venture evolved through the decades, first becoming Casa Artiach, a leader in camping equipment in the 1970s, before launching the Trango brand for technical apparel. In the early 2000s, these entities merged to become Trangoworld, a name inspired by the formidable Trango Towers in the Karakoram range, symbolizing the challenge and beauty of the mountains. This heritage informs the brand’s focus on creating highly functional and durable gear for activities ranging from trekking and climbing to trail running and skiing.
