Founded in 2020 in Melbourne by Hannah Ward, an antique collector and former auction house professional, Trove reimagines the traditional jewelry box for the modern collector. The brand was born from Ward’s desire to create storage vessels as precious as the heirlooms they hold. Trove is defined by its meticulous craftsmanship, utilizing time-honored lacquerware techniques. Each wooden box undergoes a painstaking process, receiving multiple coats of paint and eight layers of clear lacquer—a method that can take up to six months to complete—resulting in a uniquely alluring, high-gloss sheen.
