Founded in 2013 by Katie Caplener in Austin, Texas, VADA began as a fine jewelry studio before expanding into luxury eyewear in 2020. Named after Caplener’s maternal grandmother, the brand is rooted in a deep appreciation for vintage aesthetics and meticulous craftsmanship. VADA’s fine jewelry is handmade in small batches in its East Austin atelier, utilizing recycled gold and precious stones to create pieces that range from custom engagement rings to bold, everyday adornments.
