Founded in 2020 by Margarita Arriagada, the former Chief Merchant at Sephora, Valdé Beauty is a luxury cosmetics brand rooted in the concept of makeup as armor. Inspired by her Peruvian immigrant mother’s lifelong ritual of applying lipstick to project strength, Arriagada spent four years developing the brand's signature offering: an intricately designed, refillable lipstick system. The core of the collection is the Valdé Armor, a sculptural, hand-polished vessel crafted from jeweler's brass and zinc alloy, featuring intricate feather detailing that symbolizes collective female power.
