Founded in Genoa, Italy, in 1903 by Virgilio Valobra, Valobra is a historic artisan soap house that preserves the classical traditions of European soapmaking. Inspired by 18th-century master soap manufacturers, the brand built its reputation on the traditional "caldaia a cielo aperto" (open-top cauldron) method. This meticulous process involves a pure base of just three ingredients—soda, coconut oil, and tallow—which is aged for at least two months and milled four times to achieve exceptional density and a uniform texture.
