vanguard furniture

Founded in 1969 in Hickory, North Carolina, Vanguard Furniture began with two artisans and a single velvet chair, growing into a premier American manufacturer of custom upholstery and casegoods. Rooted in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the family-owned brand is defined by its commitment to traditional bench-made craftsmanship, utilizing eight-way hand-tied springs and meticulous, multi-step hand-applied finishes. Vanguard’s aesthetic spans traditional, transitional, and contemporary styles, offering a refined yet comfortable approach to residential interiors.
