Founded in 1974 in Boston by Mike van der Sleesen and Jamie Goodson, Vanson Leathers began as a manufacturer of uncompromising motorcycle racing gear. Rooted in van der Sleesen’s appreciation for durable, repairable European leathers, the brand quickly established a reputation for producing some of the toughest, competition-weight leather jackets and racing suits on the market. Every piece is still handmade in the brand's Fall River, Massachusetts factory, emphasizing thick, premium cowhide and meticulous construction designed to withstand extreme wear.
