Vetted Dermlab was founded in 2023 by three board-certified dermatologists—Dr. Carina Woodruff, Dr. Nina Botto, and Dr. Lindy Fox—who met while teaching at the University of California San Francisco. Frustrated by the rise in contact dermatitis and the murky claims of the clean beauty movement, the founders self-funded the brand to create a genuinely safe, science-backed alternative for sensitive and reactive skin.
