Vintner’s Daughter was founded in 2013 by April Gargiulo, who drew from her family's background in Napa Valley winemaking to create a new standard in luxury skincare. Disappointed by the ineffective fillers and low percentage of active ingredients in high-end products, Gargiulo applied a winemaker’s ethos—uncompromising quality and meticulous craftsmanship—to develop a concise, powerful skincare system. The brand launched with a single, now-iconic product, the Active Botanical Serum, and famously maintains a “fewer, better” philosophy, having only introduced two additional products since.
