Founded in 2022 by Chinese-Canadian designer Wanze Song in Toronto, WANZE is an emerging contemporary label rooted in the tenets of classic tailoring and meticulous garment-making. Song, who previously worked as a design assistant at Kiko Kostadinov, brings a rigorous, pattern-focused approach to her eponymous brand. The label was born out of a pandemic project that led to the creation of the viral Dumpling Bag, which quickly gained a cult following and motivated the official launch of her ready-to-wear line.
