Founded in 2014 by Gesine Holschuh—a social entrepreneur with a background in global strategy—WEHVE is a Belgian-Uruguayan luxury textile brand rooted in ancestral weaving traditions. Inspired by the vast plains of Uruguay, the brand partners with rural women's cooperatives to produce hand-loomed knitwear, shawls, and ponchos. Designed by Marine Halna du Fretay, a former Hermès designer, the collections blend South American heritage craft with contemporary European elegance.
