Rooted in the history of 19th-century whaling and lightship sailors who wove baskets during long stretches at sea, the brand translates this utilitarian craft into refined, wearable art. Wiatrowski, a second-generation weaver who learned the intricate technique from her mother, meticulously handcrafts each piece using natural, durable materials like rattan, cherry hardwood, fossilized mammoth ivory, and water buffalo horn.
