Founded in 2008 in Oceanside, California, by brothers Justin and Jeremy Heit alongside Jordan Percy, RAEN is an independent eyewear brand deeply rooted in West Coast surf and skate culture. Justin Heit, a former art director with a background in action sports, helped shape the brand’s aesthetic, which balances timeless silhouettes with a modern, laid-back sensibility. RAEN is known for its handcrafted sunglasses and optical frames, which are meticulously shaped from premium plant-based and recycled acetates. The brand’s core product lines feature classic, wearable shapes—from sculptural square frames to soft, rounded silhouettes—fitted with high-performance Carl Zeiss lenses for optimal clarity.
