Founded in 2018 by Japanese stylist and photographer Takashi Kumagai, WIND AND SEA is a Tokyo-based streetwear label rooted in surf and skate culture. Kumagai, whose memorable experiences at San Diego’s Windandsea Beach inspired the brand's name, channels a relaxed yet expressive attitude into his designs. The brand is best known for its bold typography logo, which often places "WIND" and "SEA" on different sides of garments to symbolize connection and separation.
