Founded in 2012 in Kiel, Germany, by Maximilian Schay and Jonas Stolzke, my Boo is a sustainable bicycle brand that merges innovative mobility with social impact. The founders were inspired by a photograph of a bamboo bicycle, leading them to establish a company that produces high-quality e-bikes and traditional bicycles using bamboo. The brand's signature product line features frames that are as stable as steel, light as aluminum, and comfortable as carbon, all meticulously handcrafted in Ghana through a partnership with the Yonso Project. This collaboration not only utilizes a fast-growing, renewable resource but also provides fair-wage employment for local artisans.
