Founded in 2018 by creative duo Eva Korsten and Dave Hendriks, YUME YUME is an Amsterdam-based design collective that translates dreams into tangible, futuristic footwear. The name itself means “dream” in Japanese, reflecting a design process rooted in imagination, modern art, and architecture. The brand is celebrated for its sculptural and often surreal silhouettes that merge traditional Japanese aesthetics, like the Geta sandal, with a contemporary, artful vision.
