Zanat is a design-led brand built upon a century-old family legacy of hand-carved furniture from Konjic, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Officially launched in 2015 by the Nikšić family, the fourth generation to continue the craft, the company’s name itself means “craft” in Bosnian. Their mission is to preserve and evolve a unique woodcarving technique so culturally significant that it was inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity list in 2017. This deep-rooted heritage is central to the brand’s identity, which transforms local hardwoods like maple, ash, and walnut into heirloom-quality objects.
